Baker Architectural where appointed by Southdown Housing Association to design the conversion of Wynford House, a large private three storey dwelling, into a specialist multiple occupancy assisted living residency.
The project included a full internal and external refurbishment, in which the loft space was converted and a large rear dormer was added. All bedrooms where made en-suite and a glass three storey lift was installed to assist ambulant movement around the home. Further improvements included, full disabled access, building compartmentation with sprinkler system and a specialist hydro care room.
